Catch-weight items are sold by the case but priced and invoiced on the actual weight, which is only known at pick. The platform has to carry both units of measure, show an estimated price at order, and reconcile to the scanned weight at fulfillment, which a generic cart cannot do.
How should cold-chain and lot tracking show up online?
